(20) And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

(13) Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples,

(15) ¶When he had called the people unto him, with his disciples also, he said unto them,

(28) ¶From that time many of his disciples walked not with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve,

(81) And so during the forty days after his resurrection he did not always walk visibly among the disciples, but invisibly, according to his heavenly and angelical property; though when he would speak or talk with his disciples, then he shewed or presented himself in a comprehensible or palpable manner and form, that thereby he might speak natural words with them: for the corruption cannot comprehend or apprehend the divine (words or things).

(28) As he spake these words, many believed. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,

(4) ¶When the apostles were returned, and were gathered unto Jesus, they told all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught. Jesus said unto them.

(27) ¶Many of the people, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet. Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?

(18) Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

(13) When he was alone, his disciples came and said unto Jesus, Why speakest thou in parables? He answered,

(3) He looked on them which sat about him, stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said,

(3) ¶When Jesus was come to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, nigh unto Jerusalem, he sendeth forth two disciples, saying,

(4) One of them (Cleopas) answering said, Art thou a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days? Jesus said,

(19) The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus saith again,

(2) When then Jesus had spoken these words unto his disciples, he said unto them: "Who hath ears to hear, let him hear; and let him whose spirit seetheth up in him, come forward and speak the solution of the thought of the fifth repentance of Pistis Sophia." It came to pass then, when Jesus had heard Philip, that he said unto him: "Hearken, Philip, blessed one, that I may discourse with thee; for it is thou and Thomas and Matthew on whom it is enjoined by the First Mystery to write all the discourses which I shall speak and [all which I shall] do, and all things which ye shall see. But as for thee, the number of the discourses which thou hast to write, is so far not yet completed. When it is then completed, thou art to come forward and proclaim what pleaseth thee. Now, therefore, ye three have to write down all the discourses which I shall speak and [all things which I shall] do and which ye shall see, in order that ye may bear witness to all things of the kingdom of heaven."

(2) While they talked together of all these things which had happened, Jesus himself drew near. But their eyes were holden that they should not know him. And he said unto them,

(11) His disciples, when he was entered into the house from the people, asked Jesus concerning the parable. Jesus said,

(9) In the house his disciples asked Jesus again of the same matter. He saith,

(3) They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or, that one of the old prophets is risen again. Jesus said,

(44) Mary said to him: "Holy Lord, where did your disciples come from, and where are they going, and (what) should they do here?"
