(118) MICHAEL signifieth the great strength or power of God, and bears the name operatively, actually and in deed: For he is incorporated or consolidated together out of the seven qualifying or fountain spirits, as out of a kernel or seed of them, and stands here now as in the stead of God the Father.

(126) Thus the king or great prince Michael looks like God the Father in his glorification, clarity or brightness, and is a king and prince of God upon the mount of God, and has his office in the deep wherein he is created.

(24) Mighty Enlightener, who risest up in the Sky and raisest up the tribes of men by thy Stream, and givest holiday to all districts, towns and temples; and raising food, nourishment and dainties

(63) Yet every angel has all the qualities of God in him, but one of them is strongest in him, after the same he is named, and in the same he is glorified.

(44) Behold! thou pompous, stately, lofty and proud man; the world is even too narrow for thee here, and thou thinkest there is none like thee, or equal to thee: Bethink thyself in this, whether thou hast in thee the manner, quality or condition of an angel, or of a devil. There was a great disturbance in the whole earthly area, with confusion and flight, as well as in the plan of the rulers. For on account of those who were offering praise I died, but not really, because their archangel was vacuous.
