(2) "I entered into the houses of the sphere, shining most exceedingly, and there was no measure to the light that was about me. And all the rulers and all those who are in that sphere, fell into agitation one against another. And they saw the great light that was about me, and they gazed upon my vesture and saw thereon the mystery of their name. And they fell into still greater agitation, and were in great fear, saying: 'How hath the lord of the universe passed through us without our knowing?' And all their bonds were unloosed and their regions and their orders; and every one left his order, and they fell down all together, adored before me, or before my vesture, and all sang praises together to the interiors of the interiors, being in great fear and great agitation.

(5) And they raised their eyes and saw a great, exceedingly mighty light, which no man in the world can describe. He said unto them anew: "Look away out of the light and see what ye may see." They said: "We see fire, water, wine and blood."

(121) For the Spirit, which is generated in the Heart, must in its Body walk through the Midst or Center of the Hellish Gates, and may very easily be kindled; they are as Wood and Fire, which will burn, if thou pourest no Water in among them.

(7) In like Manner also the Spirit went forth from the Heart into all the qualifying or fountain Veins of the Body, and kindled all the seven Spirits, and so the royal Body was glorified in the Twinkling of an Eye, and there he stood as a King of God, in an unsearchable Clarity or Brightness, transcendently excelling the whole heavenly Host or Army. [Viz. the seven Spirits of Nature which they were constituted of.]

(34) 4th. Fire (ether) He drew forth from the water. He engraved and established by it the Throne of Glory. He fashioned the Seraphim, the Ophanim, and the Holy Living Creatures (Cherubim?), as His ministering angels; and with (of) these three He formed His habitation, as it reads: "Who made His angels spirits, His ministers a flaming fire." (Psalms civ. 4.)

(107) When the Salitter or Fabrick of the six qualifying or fountain Spirits, which is the seventh Nature-Spirit in the Space or Room of this World, was kindled, then the Word or Heart of God stood every where in the Center or Midst of the Circle of the seven Spirits, as a Heart, which replenished all at once, viz. the whole Space or Room of this World.

(92) IV. Fourthly, the Fire-Spirit also, which stands in the horrible Anguish and Pangs of Life, must be also melted away, for it is a continued Father of the Wrath, and out of or from that is generated the hellish Woe.

(40) But he that will be capable of the kindled Fire of the seven Spirits of God, he shall abide therein, and his qualifying or fountain Spirits shall rise in hellish Pain, which I shall demonstrate clearly in its due Place.
