(93) And after me there shall arise in the second week great wickedness, And deceit shall have sprung up; And in it there shall be the first end. And in it a man shall be saved; And after it is ended unrighteousness shall grow up, And a law shall be made for the sinners.

(6) For I know and from henceforth shall I declare it unto thee, and it is not of my own devising ; for the book (lieth) written before me, and on the heavenly tables the division of days is ordained, lest they forget the feasts of the covenant and walk according to the feasts of the Gentiles after their error and after their ignorance.

(49) And in the days when the house hath been built in the name of the Lord in the land of their inheritance, they shall go there and slay the passover in the evening, at sunset, at the third part of the day.

(49) And do thou command the children of Israel to observe the passover throughout their days, every year, once a year on the day of its fixed time, . and it will come for a memorial well pleasing before the Lord, and no plague will come upon them to' slay or to smite l in that year in which they celebrate the passover in its season in every respect according to His command.

(6) And do thou command the children of Israel to observe this festival in all their generations for a commandment unto them : one day s in the year in this month they shall celebrate the festival.

(101) In those days the angels shall descend into the secret places And gather together into one place all those who brought down sin And the Most High will arise on that day of judgement To execute great judgement amongst sinners.

(2) And whoever pro- faneth it shall surely die, and whoever doeth thereon any work shall surely die eternally, that the children of Israel may observe this day throughout their generations, and not be rooted out of the land ; for it is a holy day and a blessed day.

(49) And all Israel was eating the flesh of the paschal lamb, and drinking the wine, and was lauding and blessing, and giving thanks to the Lord God of their fathers, and was ready to go forth from under the yoke of Egypt, and from the evil bondage.

(49) And when the children of Israel come into the land which they are to possess, into the land of Canaan, and set up the tabernacle of the Lord in the midst of the land in one of their tribes until the sanctuary of the Lord hath been built in the land, let them come and celebrate the passover in the midst of the tabernacle of the Lord, and let them slay it before the Lord from year to year.

(2) Wherefore do thou command the children of Israel to observe this day that they may keep it holy and not do thereon any work, and not to defile it, as it is holier than all other days.

(6) For I have written in the book of the first law,§ in that which I have written for thee, that thou shouldst celebrate it in its season, one day in the year, and I explained to thee its sacrifices that the children of Israel should remember and should cele- brate it throughout their generations in this month, one day in every year.

(94) And after that there shall be another, the eighth week, that of righteousness, And a sword shall be given to it that a righteous judgement may be executed on the oppressors, And sinners shall be delivered into the hands of the righteous.

(37) "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people, and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to seal sins, and to wipe out and make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal the vision and the prophet, and to anoint the Holy of Holies. Know therefore, and understand, that from the going forth of the word commanding an answer to be given, and Jerusalem to be built, to Christ the Prince, are seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; and the street shall be again built, and the wall; and the times shall be expended. And after the sixty-two weeks the anointing shall be overthrown, and judgment shall not be in him; and he shall destroy the city and the sanctuary along with the coming Prince. And they shall be destroyed in a flood, and to the end of the war shall be cut off by: desolations. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week; and in the middle of the week the sacrifice and oblation shall be taken away; and in the holy place shall be the abomination of desolations, and until the consummation of time shall the consummation be assigned for desolation. And in the midst of the week shall he make the incense of sacrifice cease, and of the wing of destruction, even till the consummation, like the destruction of the oblation." That the temple accordingly was l built in seven weeks, is evident; for it is written in Esdras. And thus Christ became King of the Jews, reigning in Jerusalem in the fulfilment of the seven weeks.

(95) Therefore let this be told you, ye Jews, Turks, and other Nations; you need not look for any other, there is no other Time at hand, but the Time of the Lily; and the Sign of that [Time] is the i Sign of Elias. Therefore take Heed in what Spirit you live, that the Fire of Anger do not devour you, and keat you up. It is high Time to cast Jezabel with her Whoredoms out of the House, lest you receive the Wages of the Whore, and as you revile one another, so you devour one another. Truly, if the contentious Disputations be not suddenly stayed, the Fire will burn out aloft over Babel; and then there will be no Remedy, till the Anger eats up and consumes all whatsoever is in it.

(34) For this reason it is ordained for the children of Israel that they should afflict themselves on the tenth of the seventh month — on the day that the news which made him weep for Joseph came to Jacob his father — that they should make atonement for themselves thereon with a young goat on the tenth of the seventh month, 1 Or " court official." 8 = fast," cf. Lev. xvi. , etc. once a year, for their sins; for they had grieved the affection of their father regarding Joseph his son.

(6) For this reason it is ordained and written on the heavenly tables, that they should celebrate the feast 1 i. e. Moses. of weeks * in this month once a year, to renew the covenant every year.

(49) And they may not celebrate the passover in their cities, nor in any place save before the tabernacle of the Lord, or before His house where His name hath dwelt ; and they will not go astray from the Lord.

(48) And on the fourteenth day and on the fifteenth and on the sixteenth and on the seventeenth and on the eighteenth the prince of the Mastema. was bound and imprisoned behind the children of Israel thathe might not accuse them.

(49) And the man who is free from uncleanness, and doth not come to observe it on occasion of its day, so as to bring an acceptable offering before the Lord, and to eat and to drink before the Lord on the day of its festival, that man who is clean and close at hand will be cut off ; because he offered not the oblation of the Lord in its appointed season, he will take the guilt upon himself.

(22) And it came to pass in the fhrstf week in the fforty-fourthf jubilee, in the jsecondf year, that is, the year in which Abraham died, that Isaac and Ishmael came from the Well of the Oath to celebrate the feast of weeks — that is, the feast of the first-fruits of the harvest — to Abraham, their father, and Abraham rejoiced because his two sons had come.
