(31) And he said unto him that they were truly his sons : " And thou hast truly seen that they are truly my sons."

(31) And the darkness left the eyes of Isaac, and he saw the two sons of Jacob, Levi and Judah, and he said : " Are these thy sons, my son ? for they are like thee."

(18) And I called to him from heaven, and said unto him : "Abraham, Abraham"; and he was terrified and said : " Behold, (here) am I." II. And I said unto him : " Lay not thy hand upon the lad, neither do thou anything to him ; for now I have shown that thou fearest the Lord, and hast not withheld thy son, thy first-born son, from me."

(8) "Pay attention: Blessings on those who have proclaimed the son before he came down, so that, when I did come, I might ascend.

(26) And he said : M Art thou my son, Esau? " and he said : " I am thy son " : and he said, " iBring near to me that I may eat of that which thou hast caught, my son, that my soul may bless thee."

(31) And she saw his two sons, and she recognised them, and said unto him : " Are these thy sons, my son? " and she embraced them and kissed them, and blessed them, saying: " In you shall the seed of Abraham become illustrious, and ye will prove a blessing on the earth."

(3) Then Mary, the mother of Jesus, came forward and said: "My son according to the world, my God and Saviour according to the height, bid me proclaim the solution of the words which Pistis Sophia hath uttered." And Jesus answered and said: "Thou also, Mary, hast received form which is in Barbēlō, according to matter, and hast received likeness which is in the Virgin of Light, according to light, thou and the other Mary, the blessed one; and on thy account the darkness hath arisen, and moreover out of thee did come forth the material body in which I am, which I have purified and refined,--now, therefore, I bid thee proclaim the solution of the words which Pistis Sophia hath uttered." And Mary, the mother of Jesus, answered and said: "My Lord, thy light-power hath prophesied aforetime concerning these words through Solomon in the nineteenth Ode and said: "'1. The Lord is on my head as a wreath, and I shall not depart from him.

(15) And God said : " Yea, and Sarah also will bear thee a son, and thou wilt call his name Isaac, and I shall establish My covenant with him, an everlasting covenant, and for his seed after him.

(1) IT came to pass then, when Jesus our Lord had been crucified and had risen from the dead on the third day, that his disciples gathered round him, adored him and said: "Our Lord, have mercy upon us, for we have abandoned father and mother and the whole world and have followed thee."

(10) Then said the Most High, the Holy and Great One spake, and sent Uriel to the son of Lamech, and said to him:

(71) And he (i.e. the angel) came to me and greeted me with His voice, and said unto me: 'This is the Son of Man who is born unto righteousness; And righteousness abides over him, And the righteousness of the Head of Days forsakes him not.'

(107) And he said unto him: 'I have begotten a strange son, diverse from and unlike man, and resembling the sons of the God of heaven; and his nature is different and he is not like us, and his eyes are as the rays of the sun, and his countenance is glorious.

(19) Matthew said to him: "Lord, Savior, how was Man revealed?"

(25) Then Bartholomew said to him: "How (is it that) was designated in the Gospel 'Man' and 'Son of Man'? To which of them, then, is this Son related?"

(18) And he said, " God will provide for himself a sheep for a burnt-offering, my son." And he drew near to the place of the mount of God.

(70) And it came to pass after this that his name during his lifetime was raised aloft to that Son of Man and to the Lord of Spirits from amongst those who dwell on the earth.

(69) And there was great joy amongst them, And they blessed and glorified and extolled Because the name of that Son of Man had been revealed unto them.

(18) And He said, " Take thy beloved8 son whom thou lovest, (even) Isaac, and go unto the high country, and offer him on one of the mountains which will point out unto thee."

(1) It came to pass then, when John had finished speaking these words to Jesus in the midst of his disciples, that he said unto him: "Well said, John, the Virgin, who shalt rule in the kingdom of the Light."

(18) And God said to him, " Abraham, Abra- ham " ; and he said, "Behold, (here) am I."
