(2) "And the seven Amēns and the five Trees and the three Amēns will be on my right, being kings in the inheritances of the Light. And the Twin-saviours, that is the Child of the Child, and the nine guards will bide also at my left, being kings in the inheritances of the Light.

(87) And those three that had last come forth grasped me by my hand and took me up, away from the generations of the earth, and raised me up to a lofty place, and showed me a tower raised high above the earth, and all the hills were lower.

(37) Now three parables were imparted to me, and I lifted up my voice and recounted them to those that dwell on the earth.

(174) Let the immortal depth of your Soul lead you, but earnestly raise your eyes upwards.

(33) As assigned, they ascend. After silence, they descend from the third. They praise the second, and afterward the first. The way of ascent is the way of descent.

(29) the right and the other to the left. The branch to the right was called Divine Wisdom and the one to the left Earthly Wisdom. Youth, personified by the candidate, walking the Path of Life, symbolized by the central stem of the Υ, reaches the point where the Path divides. The neophyte must then choose whether he will take the left-hand path and, following the dictates of his lower nature, enter upon a span of folly and thoughtlessness which will inevitably result in his undoing, or whether he will take the right-hand road and through integrity, industry, and sincerity ultimately regain union with the immortals in the superior spheres.

(6) He laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me,

(9) She saith, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in glory in thy kingdom. But Jesus said unto them,

If there good words are always said for us, What may not here be said and done for them, By those who have a good root to their will? Well may we help them wash away the marks That hence they carried, so that clean and light They may ascend unto the starry wheels! "Ah! so may pity and justice you disburden Soon, that ye may have power to move the wing, That shall uplift you after your desire, Show us on which hand tow'rd the stairs the way Is shortest, and if more than one the passes, Point us out that which least abruptly falls; For he who cometh with me, through the burden Of Adam's flesh wherewith he is invested, Against his will is chary of his climbing." The words of theirs which they returned to those That he whom I was following had spoken, It was not manifest from whom they came,

(9) "Praise again, child, and sing while you are silent. Ask what you want in silence."

(487) 1046 To say: O my father, Osiris N., 1046 thou art spiritualized on the horizon, thou endurest in the Ddi.t; 1046 thou commandest (with) words as he who is at the head of the living, eternally. 1047 Get (lit. stand up) from thy left side, put thyself on thy right side; 1047 take this thy bread, which I am giving thee; I am thy son and thine heir.

If this were so, in you would be destroyed Free will, nor any justice would there be In having joy for good, or grief for evil.
