(15) You are uttered by a voice, but by mind you are glorified.

(26) For you commanded us, you who are our superior, to glorify you as best we can.

(5) You are a superior One, first shadow of the holy father, light from light.

(5) We all praise you, you who know, with glorifying praise, you, because of whom all these are . . . who know yourself through yourself alone.

(27) Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord: neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.

(21) Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him. If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.

(58) Blessed are ye, ye righteous and elect, For glorious shall be your lot.

(4) I am knowledge and ignorance. I am shame and fearlessness. I am shameless and ashamed. I am strength and fear. I am war and peace. Hear what I say. I am the disgraced and the grand being. Consider my poverty and wealth. Don't be arrogant when I am cast down on the earth, and you will find me in those who are to come. Don't stare at me lying on a dung heap. Don't run off and cast me away. In the kingdoms you will find me. Don't stare when I am cast with the disgraced in the most sordid places or laugh at me. Don't throw me out among those violently slaughtered. I am compassionate and cruel.

(4) Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

(10) You are One, of the One, and you are from its shadow.

(5) But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

(10) He who knows in truth this glory and power of Mine acquires unshakable devotion; of this there is no doubt.

(9) Others, again, offer the oblation of knowledge and worship Me either as one with them or as distinct from them; and still others in various ways worship Me, whose form is the whole universe.

(17) You are One, you are One, as one might tell you, you are One.

(7) Four types of virtuous men worship Me , Ο Arjuna: the man in distress , the man seeking knowledge , the man seeking enjoyment , and, Ο best of the Bhāratas, the man endowed with wisdom .

(14) And he who worships Me with the yoga of undeviating love rises above the gunas and becomes fit to be one with Brahman.

(20) For if I by grace am partaker, why am I evil spoken of l for that for which I give thanks? Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God." "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the demolition of fortifications, demolishing thoughts, and every high thing which exalteth itself against the knowledge of Christ." Equipped with these weapons, the Gnostic says: O Lord, give opportunity, and receive demonstration; let this dread event pass; I contemn dangers for the love I bear to Thee.

(11) O thousand-armed one, though you are the embodiment of all creation, I wish to see you in your four-armed form, carrying the mace and disc, and wearing the crown.

(5) "Now, therefore, amēn, I say unto you: Every man who will receive that mystery of the Ineffable and accomplish it in all its types and all its figures,--he is a man in the world, but he towereth above all angels and will tower still more above them all. "He is a man in the world, but he towereth above all archangels and will tower still more above them all. "He is a man in the world, but he towereth above all tyrants and will raise himself above them all. "He is a man in the world, but he towereth above all lords and will raise himself above them all. "He is a man in the world, but he towereth above all gods and will raise himself above them all. "He is a man in the world, but he towereth above all light-givers and will raise himself above them all. "He is a man in the world, but he towereth above all pure [ones] and will raise himself above them all. "He is a man in the world, but he towereth above all triple-powers and will raise himself above them all. "He is a man in the world, but he towereth above all forefathers and will raise himself above them all. "He is a man in the world, but he towereth above all invisibles and will raise himself above them all. "He is a man in the world, but he towereth above the great invisible forefather and will raise himself above him. "He is a man in the world, but he towereth above all those of the Midst and will raise himself above them all. "He is a man in the world, but he towereth above the emanations of the Treasury of the Light and will raise himself above them all. "He is a man in the world, but he towereth above the Mixture and will raise himself entirely above it. "He is a man in the world, but he towereth above the whole region of the Treasury and will raise himself entirely above it. "He is a man in the world, but he will rule with me in my kingdom. "He is a man in the world, but he is king in the Light. "He is a man in the world, but he is not one of the world. "And amēn, I say unto you: That man is I and I am that man.

(3) The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.
