(95) For all the seven spirits of God the Father generate continually in their circle, and that is the Son of all the seven spirits, and all those qualify or act in his light, and [the Son] is in the midst or centre of the birth, and holds together all the seven spirits of God, and they in their birth turn about therewith thus.

(48) For the birth or geniture of God also is thus; the seventh nature-spirit does not reach back into its father, which generateth it, but holdeth still and is quiet as a body, and letteth the father's will, which is the other six spirits, to form and image in it how they please.

(50) The seven spirits of nature in an angel should play and rise up gently in God their Father, as they had done before their creaturely being, and rejoice in their newborn son, which they have generated out of themselves, which is the light and understanding of their body.

(57) Now you may well perceive that the Birth of the Sun takes its Original in the Fire, and attains his Personality and Name in the Kindling of the soft, white, and clear Light, which is Himself; and Himself makes the pleasant Smell, Taste, and Satisfaction [or Reconciliation and Well-pleasing] in the Father, and is rightly the Father's Heart, and another Person; for he opens and produces the second Principle in the Father; and his own Essence is the Power or Virtue and the Light; and therefore his is rightly called the Power or Virtue of the Father.

(21) Behold, the first, innermost and deepest birth or geniture stands in the centre, and is the heart of the Deity, which is generated by the qualifying or fountain spirits of God; and this birth or geniture is the light, which yet, though it be generated out of the qualifying or fountain spirits, no qualifying or fountain spirit of itself alone can comprehend, but every qualifying or fountain spirit comprehendeth only its own instanding, innate place or seat in the light; but all the seven spirits jointly together comprehend the whole light, for they are the father of the light.

(34) Still, even when this is done, if the holding [phenomena] as real remaineth undissolved, the womb- door is not closed; and, if one be ready to enter into the womb, thereupon one should close the womb- door by meditating upon the Clear Light, this being the fifth [method]. The meditation is performed as follows: 'Lo! All substances are mine own mind; and this mind is vacuousness, is unborn, and unceasing.' Thus meditating, allow the mind to rest in the uncreated [state] — like, for example, the pouring of water into water. The mind should be allowed its own easy mental posture, in its natural [or unmodified] condition, clear and vibrant. By maintaining this relaxed, uncreated [state of mind], the womb-doors of the four kinds of birth are sure to be closed. Meditate thus until the closing is successfully accomplished.

(23) And that is the hidden birth or geniture in nature, which no man by his own reason, wit or capacity can comprehend; but the soul of that man alone who stands in the light of God comprehends it, and no other. The Second Birth or Geniture in Nature, are the seven Spirits of Nature.

(12) The living soul, the powerful Chu of N. worships the sun when he ariseth on the Eastern horizon of the sky

(13) The Salitter, out of which the earth is come to be, was from eternity, and stood in the seventh qualifying or fountain spirit, which is the nature spirit, and the other six have generated the seventh continually, and are encompassed or surrounded therewith, or lie captivated or enclosed therein, as in their mother, and are the power and life of the seventh, just as is the astral birth in the flesh.

(13) When we consider the whole nature and its property, then we see the Father.

(3) When the perceiving consciousness in this meditative is wholly given to illuminating the essential meaning of the object contemplated, and is freed from the sense of separateness and personality, this is contemplation (samadhi).

(22) The seven spirits are the father of the light, and the light is their son, which they always continually generate thus from eternity to eternity, and the light enlighteneth and always eternally makes the seven spirits living and joyful, for they all receive their rising and life in the power of light.

(9) O nobly-born, on this the Sixth Day, the four colours of the primal states of the four elements [water, earth, fire, air] will shine upon thee simultaneously. At that time, from the Central Realm of the Spreading Forth of See, the Buddha Vairochana, the Divine Father-Mother, with the attendant [deities], will come to shine upon thee. From the Eastern Realm of Pre-eminent Happiness, the Buddha Vajra-Sattva, the Divine Father-Mother, with the attendant [deities] will come to shine upon thee. From the Southern Realm endowed with Glory, the Buddha Ratna-Sambhava, the Divine Father- Mother, with the attendant [deities] will come to shine upon thee. From the Happy Western Realm of Heaped-up Lotuses, the Buddha Amitabha, the Divine Father-Mother, along with the attendant [deities] will come to shine upon thee. From the Northern Realm of Perfected Good Deeds, the Buddha Amogha-Siddhi, the Divine Father-Mother, along with the attendants will come, amidst a halo of rainbow light, to shine upon thee at this very moment.

(97) But when the third mother is kindled in the light, then it stands in the created heaven of the holy life, and shineth through the second mother, the seven spirits, whereby the seven spirits get a friendly, courteous will, which is the love of the life, as you may read in the eighth chapter of this book, concerning the lovebirth or geniture of God.

(13) Having no beginning and possessing no gunas, this supreme and imperishable Self, Ο son of Kunti, neither acts nor is stained by action even while dwelling in the body.

(75) It is a very humble father to its children, and loveth them heartily, and playeth with them friendly, for it is the right father of the other six spirits, which are generated in it, and it helps to generate them all.

(1) Out of the sky and out of the sun the divine Mind enters him. Verily, that is the divine Mind whereby one becomes blissful and sorrows not.

(19) And as in the seventh nature-spirit of God, which existeth out of the other six, there does not stand the whole perfect knowledge of the other six spirits, for it cannot search or dive into their deep birth or geniture, in that they are its father, and generate it out of themselves.

(5) The one who is in the Pleroma was what he first prayed to and remembered; then (he remembered) his brothers individually and (yet) always with one another; then all of them together; but before all of them, the Father. The prayer of the agreement was a help for him in his own return and (in that of) the Totality, for a cause of his remembering those who have existed from the first was his being remembered. This is the thought which calls out from afar, bringing him back.

(65) As the Son of God, without or distinct from the angels, is generated in the middle or central fountain spring, in the heat, in the sweet water, out of or from all the seven spirits of God, and reenlighteneth back again all the seven spirits of God, whence they have their life and joy:
