(10) Of the Ādityas I am Vishnu; of lights I am the radiant sun. I am Marichi of the Maruts, and among the orbs of night I am the moon.

(10) 8 Horus lives, living apparition of the king of Upper and Lower Egypt, N., 8 (of the land of) the two goddesses, living apparition, N., 8 (of the land of) the two lords (of Ombos), N., 8 Osiris, lord of the D.t, N., 8 the beloved son of Geb, N., 8 son of Nut, opener of her body (womb), N., 8 endowed with life, endurance, joy, health, like R`, eternally.

(10) The seven great Rishis, the ancient four Devarshis, the fourteen Manus, were born of My nature from My mind; and from them have come forth all these beings in the world.

(260) 316 To say: O Geb, bull of Nut, N. is a Horus, heir of his father. 316 N. is the goer, the comer, the fourth of these four gods, 316 who have brought water (and) made themselves clean, who rejoice over the "power" of their fathers. 316 He desires that he be justified by that which he has done. 317 Since Tfn and Tefnut have judged N.; since the Two Truths have heard (him); 317 since Shu has been advocate (tongue); since the Two Truths have given verdict; 317 he has encompassed the thrones of Geb, he has raised himself to that which he wished. 318 (So now that) his limbs are united, which were hidden (in the grave), 318 he unites himself with those who are in Nun. He puts an end to his words in Heliopolis, 318 as N. goes forth on that day in the true form of an . 319 N. destroys battle; he punishes revolt. 319 N. goes forth (as) the protector of truth; he brings her, for she is with him. 319 Those who were furious, (now) busy themselves for him; those who are in Nun, (now) give life over to him. 320 The refuge of N. is in his eye; the protection of N. is in his eye; 320 the power of N. is in his eye; the strength of N. is in his eye. 321 O gods of South, North, West, East, respect N., fear him; 321 he has sat in the t of the two courts. 321 That uraeus-serpent dnn-wt.t might have burned you, for she attained your heart, 322 you (they) who might have come to N. as an adversary; come to him (as a friend), come to him. 322 N. is the dd of his father, the nb of his mother. 323 The abomination of N. is to walk in darkness, 323 lest he see those who are upside down. 323 N. will come forth in this day; he will bring truth with him. 323 N. will not be delivered up to your flame, O gods.

(42) Isis is shown with her son Horus in her arms. She is crowned with the lunar orb, ornamented with the horns of rams or bulls. Orus, or Horus as he is more generally known, was the son of Isis and Osiris. He was the god of time, hours, days, and this narrow span of life recognized as mortal existence. In all probability, the four sons of Horus represent the four kingdoms of Nature. It was Horus who finally avenged the murder of his father, Osiris, by slaying Typhon, the spirit of Evil.

(10) Neither the hosts of gods nor the great sages know My origin; for, in all respects, I am the source of the gods and the sages.

(2) "And by the will of the greatness my equality was revealed, that what is of the power might become apparent. You are the great power that came into being, and I am the perfect light that is above the spirit and the darkness, the one who puts to shame the darkness for the intercourse of impure rubbing. For through the division of nature the majesty wished to be covered with honor up to the height of the thought of the spirit. And the spirit received rest in his power. For the image of the light is inseparable from the unconceived spirit. And the lawgivers did not name him after all the clouds of nature, nor is it possible to name him. For every likeness into which nature had divided is a power of the chaotic fire, which is the material seed. The one who took to himself the power of the darkness imprisoned it in the midst of its members. And by the will of the majesty, in order that the mind and the whole light of the spirit might be protected from every burden and from the toil of nature, a voice came forth from the spirit to the cloud of the hymen. And the light of the astonishment began to rejoice with the voice that was granted to him. And the great spirit of light was in the cloud of the hymen. He honored the infinite light and the universal likeness, who I am, the son of the majesty, saying, 'Anasses Duses, you are the infinite light who was given by the will of the majesty to establish every light of the spirit upon the place, and to separate the mind from the darkness. For it was not right for the light of the spirit to remain in Hades. For at your wish the spirit arose to behold your greatness.'

(9) 7 Horus [lives], beloved of the two lands, N., king of Upper and Lower Egypt, N., of the two goddesses beloved bodily, N., lords of Ombos, N. 7 Heir of Geb, whom he loves, N., beloved of all the gods, N., given life, endurance, joy, health, all happiness, like R`.

(2) God produced Vau, predominant in Mind, crowned, combined, and formed Taurus in the world, Yiar in the year, and the right kidney of man.

(303) 464 To say: Gods of the West, gods of the East, gods of the South, gods of the North- 464 these four pure reed-floats, which ye placed for Osiris, 464 for his ascension to heaven, 465 that he might ferry over to b.w, while his son Horus was at hand (at his fingers), 465 (whom) he reared and whom he caused to dawn as a great god in b.w, 465 place them for N. 466 Art thou Horus, son of Osiris? Art thou, O N., the god, the eldest, son of Hathor? 466 Art thou the seed of Geb? 467 Osiris has ordained that N. dawn as a second Horus. 467 Those four souls (spirits), who are in Heliopolis, have written it 467 in the register of the two Great Gods who are in b.w.

(7) I am the savour of waters, Ο son of Kunti, the radiance of the sun and moon; I am the syllable Om in all the Vedas, the sound in ether, the manliness in man.

(9) O nobly-born, from the hearts of the Divine Fathers and Mothers of the Five Orders, the rays of light of the Four Wisdoms united, extremely clear and fine, like the rays of the sun spun into threads, will come and shine upon thee and strike against thy heart.

(9) I am the Father of this universe, the Mother, the Sustainer, and the Grandsire. I am the knowable, the purifier, and the syllable Om. I am also the Rik, the Sāman, and the Yajus.

(40) Timaeus: He framed to be the wardress and fashioner of night and day, she being the first and eldest of all the gods which have come into existence within the Heaven. But the choric dances of these same stars and their crossings one of another, and the relative reversals and progressions of their orbits, and which of the gods meet in their conjunctions, and how many are in opposition, and behind which and at what times they severally pass before one another and are hidden from our view, and again re-appearing

(12) Before the throne of God was the crystal sea representing the Schamayim, or the living waters which are above the heavens. Before the throne also were four creatures--a bull, a lion, an eagle, and a man. These represented the four corners of creation and the multitude of eyes with which they were covered are the stars of the firmament. The twenty-four elders have the same significance as the priests gathered around the statue of Ceres in the Greater Eleusinian Rite and also the Persian Genii, or gods of the hours of the day, who, casting away their crowns, glorify the Holy One. As symbolic of the divisions of time, the elders adore the timeless and enduring Spirit in the midst of them.

(15) The seven stars carried by this immense Being in his right hand are the Governors of the world; the flaming sword issuing from his mouth is the Creative Fiat, or Word of Power, by which the illusion of material permanence is slain. Here also is represented, in all his symbolic splendor, the hierophant of the Phrygian Mysteries, his various insignia emblematic of his divine attributes. Seven priests bearing lamps are his attendants and the stars carried in his hand are the seven schools of the Mysteries whose power he administers. As one born again out of spiritual darkness, into perfect wisdom, this archimagus is made to say: "I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forever more, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death."

I 94 He has come to thee, N.t (Crown of Lower Egypt); he has come to thee, Nsr.t (Uraeus); 194 he has, come to thee, Great One; he has come to thee, Great-inmagic (Crown of Lower Egypt). 194 He is pure for thee; he is in awe of thee. 195 Mayest thou be satisfied with him; mayest thou be satisfied with his purity; 195 mayest thou be satisfied with his word, which he speaks to thee: 195 "How beautiful is thy face, when it is peaceful, new, young, for a god, father of the gods, has begotten thee!" 195 He has come to thee, Great-in-magic (Crown of Lower Egypt). 195 It is Horus, who has fought in protection of his eye, Great-inmagic.

(18) O nobly-born on the Fourteenth Day, the Four Female Door-Keepers, also issuing from within thine own brain, will come to shine upon thee. Again recognize. From the east [quarter] of thy brain will come to shine the White Tiger-Headed Goad-Holding Goddess, bearing a blood-filled skull-bowl in her left [hand]; from the south, the Yellow Sow-Headed Noose-Holding Goddess; from the west, the Red Lion-Headed Iron-Chain-Holding Goddess; and from the north, the Green Serpent-Headed Bell- Holding Goddess. Thus, issue the Four Female Door-Keepers also from within thine own brain and come to shine upon thee; as tutelary deities, recognize them.

(80) Now when we speak or write of the three Persons in the Deity, you must not conceive that therefore there are three Gods, each reigning and ruling by himself, like temporal kings on the earth.

(1) Then the Anvâhârya fire taught him: Water, the quarters, the stars, the moon (these are my forms). The person that is seen in the moon, I am he, I am he indeed.
